Denise Williams B.Ed (Hons)
Owner and Manager of Home-Grown (DSL & Paediatric First Aid Trained)
With more than thirty years experience in teaching and childcare I'm happy to say that I still love working with children!
I set up my childcare business, from home, in 2002 when I left teaching. I had worked full time in Primary Education until then – nine years in Birmingham and three years in Worcester. Most of my teaching career was in KS2 and I had spent a good few years in Year 6 with some of the most challenging children that you are likely to find in main stream primary education! When I left teaching I was committed to developing a high quality childcare setting, one that would give all babies and children who came, the very best start in life.
We have a wonderful team of trained and skilled adults who all help to make our setting the best it can be.
